One mixture contains lavender and the other does not. During our testing process, we discovered a lot of women are allergic to lavender, so we offer a blend of Alchemy Oil without lavender.

At this time Alchemy Oil only sells 4 oz. bottles of our mixture. We are giving thought to an 8 oz. bottle in the future.

We recommend you discontinue use immediately and contact your physician. They can provide you details on what ingredient you may have had a reaction to. All ingredients are listed on the Shop page of the website, so please read that thoroughly before you buy.

Please go to our Oil page where you will find the full list.

All products are all natural and benefit hair of color. It specifically helps lock in moisture to hair types that reluctantly absorb moisture.

Alchemy has replaced my moisturizers; the only other products I use are shampoo, leave in conditioner, curl definer and water! Oil seals in moisture with the use of water. This is why hair should be wet when applying oil during your wash process before braiding.
If you have diagnosed scalp or dermatology issues that result in excessive dryness, please consult your doctor for additional moisturizer solutions.

This answer is based on wearing a fully natural style (non-straightened hair), if you have locs, wear braid outs, twist outs etc… To oil scalp, wet hands and edges and apply the oil using the dropper onto scalp. Massage scalp for about 3-5 minutes.

If you wear a wash and go, spritz hair with a water bottle and use the dropper to disperse oil onto scalp. Massage scalp for about 3-5 minutes.

We encourage women to use shampoos, conditioners and other hair products that are sulfate and paraben free, contain no glycol, phthalates, petroleum, have natural and minimal ingredients and water.

Alchemy Oil is 100% natural and only contains 11 or 10 basic ingredients (version without lavender). We sell a product that encourages hair growth but also promote a healthy lifestyle that will further support hair strength, growth and health.
